Redemption

I lost my way in the sunlight

The Whole World Struggles 

Another melancholy evening 

I’m not sure where I’m going and I’m less sure where I’ve been 

Maybe it’s just a funny feeling 

But everyone seems different since I knew them way back when 

I need some good vibes. I need vacation. I need for you to spend a little time with me 

I really wonder what happened to us? 

Is this the only way the world will ever be? 

 

You know the whole world struggles and we try to keep the faith every morning of our lives 

But it can feel much better when I see the love reflected in your eyes

 

Perhaps you find this unappealing   

I’m not trying to rain upon another sunny day   

But when I see the things I’m seeing   

I just have to believe that there can be a better way   

A way to keep life a little easy and make the old stuff seem like it’s a little new  



But hey I’m lucky and yah I know that  

Because at least I know I’m coming home to you
